The caption "Flint- Creek Canon" "In middle of R.B.S's [Robert Brewster Stanton's] and T.A.J's [Thomas A. Jobs'] Harold placer" is handwritten on the album paper next to the photograph. The canyon (which Jobs spells without the Spanish Ñ that makes for the English spelling) is called Flint Canyon in 2017. This is at the top of page 5 of the album. The approximate date is 1880s.
