The caption "The Saw Mill, G.M. back of it with white doors" is handwritten on the album paper next to the photograph at the bottom of page 3. The photograph is damaged on the right-hand corner. The engine and smokestack are at left, with stacks of lumber toward the right, and men in the yard. "G.M." might refer to "General Manager." The approximate date is 1880s.
