Mrs. Carr encloses a photograph of Fred Carr and asks if it will do for the Service Panel at San Diego State College. She gives the date of an article in the San Diego Union newspaper about a citation given to his battalion. At a later date the newspaper ran a photograph of some of the men with their artillery. She also sends news of Jack Carr and her own change of address.
