Susan E. Cayleff is interviewed by Temperance Russell. After a question about her demographics, Cayleff discusses how she came to be at SDSU. Cayleff goes in-depth about her activism. Cayleff explains that one of the reasons she chose to come to SDSU was the value of activism at the university. She also explains some of the difficulties the department has faced over the years. She discusses the creation of the masters program in the Women's Studies Department. Cayleff is "adamant on this point that we must remain women's studies".
