The US concrete industry is a big market with billions of dollars in revenue every year. This study performs a cost-benefit analysis on industry collected data to find out if there is monetary benefit to the concrete contractors by implementing a new approach. The proposed approach claims to be more effective and helps reduce error rates in the industry to reduce failure costs. The study also involves development of a computer application that will automate the statistical analysis which is currently manually performed and constitutes a key automate the statistical analysis which is currently manually performed and constitutes a key benefit analysis performed reveals that the approach will reduce failure costs for the construction companies.
