Description
Bishan Singh Bedi is a famous sports personality as he played cricket test matches for the India cricket team from 1966 to 1979. He is a former cricketer and continues his passion for cricket by running a cricket coaching academy trust. In this thesis, we developed a web application for him to share his cricket knowledge and experiences with the world and promote his trust activities using this interface. The website has integrated features like a discussion forum, an event calendar, a shopping cart, a picture gallery, cricket news RSS feeds, registration for seminars and workshops, and all cricket and Bishan Singh Bedi related information. The application proposes mainly the ways to let a user interact with a Bishan Singh Bedi website and get up to date information about the game of cricket. The future enhancements of this project include letting users get site update notifications, vote in poll services and choose a scorecard option for live matches.
