Volume One/Number One was published by Students for McCarthy in Indianapolis, Indiana and distributed free of charge. The title at the bottom parodies the title of a popular play first performed in 1967: "The Persecution and Assassination of Jean-Paul Marat as Performed by the Inmates of the Asylum of Charenton Under the Direction of the Marquis de Sade," usually called "Marat/Sade."
