This thesis discusses a web-based learning management application -- SDSU Ebuddy -- that serves to improve communication between students, professors, and departments in a higher education environment. By improving communication, this tool allows professors and staff to work more efficiently by using less time and fewer resources. Several sources of information are available on Internet. A properly designed web tool can help gather and organize helpful information to improve communication between people in an education system. The objective of this thesis was to make a better communication tool with a learning management system for students, professors, and departments. PHP, JavaScript, and Mysql tools were used in the development of this web application.
