Vietnam veteran Babicky knows the length of his service in Vietnam: exactly 11 months 29 days with the First Air Cavalry Division in 1968. He was a student at California State University, San Diego, receiving his Bachelor's degree in speech communication in 1973, becoming a graduate instructor.
