The main purpose of this thesis is to develop a GIS application to showcase the growth of baseball as a sport. This application will also shed some light on the early history of women in baseball and provide information about the women who helped create a major difference in baseball during World War I era. This tool gives a brief history of the Negro Leagues and covers the integration era which was seen in the early years of baseball. This application is developed using Map Objects with Java Objects (Mojo) which is a product developed by Environmental Systems Research Institute(ESRI) along with the use of shape files were being created by use of QGIS. The multimedia application provides a rich experience for the users with the ability to click and learn. This tool consists of custom menus and new features like card layout, slideshows and videos that enhance the user experience.
