Description
Today, there is much attention on green communications. On-going research over the past decade has focused on reducing power consumption and energy efficiency in wireless communications. The present study investigated the base station cooperation technique for increasing the energy efficiency of green cellular communication systems. In the base station cooperation technique, all base stations within a given location work together to provide a better quality of experience (QoE) to the user. By adapting the operational mode according to wireless traffic conditions and mobility, the bee system base station cooperation technique in cellular networks improves overall systems energy efficiency and provides the best quality of service (QoS) and QoE to the user. Computer simulation results demonstrated that using the base station cooperation technique can significantly increase the energy efficiency of cellular networks.
