This framed portrait of Huddie William Ledbetter, known as Leadbelly, appears to have been hanging on a wall when it was photographed. It is possible that one of the Moore daughters painted this. It is clearly taken from a black-and-white photograph by Berenice Abbot titled "Lead Belly (Huddie William Ledbetter), 1944" and depicted on artnet.com (an internet auction site) in late 2018 as a sold item. This photograph of the painting is located in the Moore Family's yellow album. It may date from the 1970s or 1980s.
