From the top of the mountain that dominates the northern reaches of the San Francisco Bay Area, the view encompasses several bays and lower hills. Just to the right and below center is the "Double Bow Knot" made by the tracks as they lower the Mount Tamalpais and Muir Woods Railway train from near the summit towards Muir Woods or Mill Valley. The publisher's number 224 is on the lower right above the title in an almost illegible light green. The divided back is unusual for this publisher.
