This preliminary card offers an artist's rendition of what the Exposition would look like in 1915, "to be held at San Francisco February 24th to December 4th 1915," as it says on the back. People look over a railing in the foreground at a courtyard of a tower festooned with architectural gingerbread, with stairs curving up to it from both sides, an elaborate plinth with a statue in front, and flags flying all around. A seal of the Exposition is on the divided back, while the publisher's number 1114 is in the left upper corner.
