People look over a railing in the foreground at a courtyard of a tower festooned with architectural gingerbread, with stairs curving up to it from both sides, an elaborate plinth with a statue in front, and flags flying all around. A seal of the Exposition is on the divided back, while the publisher's number 1114 is in the left upper corner.
