The picture side of this postcard consists of a map and directions to the hotel from Los Angeles. On the back is the statement that the lodge is "one mile high" and "eighty miles from Los Angeles." The contributor's number 125834 is at the top of the dividing line on the back. Most of the outlined route (Los Angeles to San Bernardino) became part of the later Interstate 10 freeway.
