Underneath the title on the back of this textured card is the motto, "In all the mountains no place like this Only 85 miles from Los Angeles--Elevation 6,200 feet." It also bears the word "hand-colored." A two-1/2 story log cabin with seven windows on both floors stands next to a smaller, taller building on the right. In front of the lodge is an automobile with the top down. This lodge was damaged by fire and razed in 1966. Wrightwood is in the San Gabriel Mountains about 77 miles northeast of Los Angeles, California, accessible via State Highway 2. The approximate date is 1940.
