A long aisle stretches before the viewer, with tables and chairs ready for diners on either side. Chandeliers hang over the tables, with high windows on the right, low ones on the left. The description on the back explains: "The Dining Room, with its heavy beams and statues of Saints, is suggestive of the period when good Father Junipero Serra showered blessings on his little flock." The Teich organization's number A-1326 is in the lower left corner, from which the date was derived. The publisher's number G 21 is on the divided back with the phrase "On the Road of a Thousand Wonders." This slogan indicates that the card may have been part of a railroad promotion. The approximate date is 1909.
