Judging from the blank spot in the special cancellation, a postage stamp was removed from this card. There are, however, a legible postmark, publishing information, and a dividing line between a message and address handwritten in cursive using black ink that is fading. The card is addressed to Mr. and Mrs. A.J. Nelson of Arvin, California from Anna Hill.
