In the distance on the far right is Mount San Antonio in the San Gabriel Mountains, known as "Old Baldy." Handwritten on the bottom of the card in cursive, using black ink, is a message, since no message was permitted on the back: "I went for a walk Sat. and sat down to rest under this tree. Grace." A figure can be seen under the tree in the image. The approximate date is 1907.
