Photographs of "Mount Whitney - Highest in the United States" and "Death Valley - Lowest spot in United States," the top and bottom here, were taken in 1927 by Burton Frasher, Sr. and made into separate postcards. The image in the middle is labeled "We want you to come back" Square Deal Garage - Carl Bruno - Lone Pine, California" and this split Real Photo postcard is copyrighted by Carl Bruno with the name "Frasers Fotos" beside it. The Azo brand postcard backing on which this card was developed was manufactured between 1926 and the 1940s, called the "first stable emlsion" by the Metropolitan Postcard Club of New York City.
