The motto "In All The World No Trip Like This" and the flag with a "W" on the back mark this card as part of a Wilmington Transportation Company promotion of Santa Catalina Island. The company owned the only ferries between Catalina and San Pedro on the mainland. The number on the back of the card is A-100794, which, according to the guide maintained by the Curt Teich Postcard Archives, translates to 1924. The photographic inset on the map is of Avalon Bay.
