This is a Real Photo postcard (RPPC) created by Andries Nielen, who is known for his aphorisms like the one on the back of this card. Scratched into this picture (showing up white here in the right bottom corner) during the developing process are the words, "Wisteria bedecked home," and a woman is shown in front of the door. The Real Photo silver process allowed photographers to take a "snapshot" and have it finished at a photo shop that printed it out on postcard backing for mailing. This DOPS photo paper was made from 1925-1942. The approximate date is the 1920s.
