This sepia-toned postcard is oriented with north at the top, showing the Cabrillo Bridge near the left horizon, and Balboa Park off the right-hand side of the card. The visible avenues are going north and south. This is a Real Photo postcard (RPPC). This Kodak print out process by which amateurs or professionals could have their photographs developed on postcard blanks used several different photo papers identified in the stamp box. On the back of this card the paper is shown to be Azo, coded to a type of paper that was used from 1917-1930.
