Most of the view in this hand-tinted picture postcard is taken up by The U.S. Grant Hotel on the left. Two streetcars and a set of tracks on Broadway, one turning onto Third Avenue can be seen in the foreground and the background, but without the wire suprastructure usually removed in enhanced postcards. These might have been Class 1 streetcars, introduced starting in 1912. The US Grant was opened in 1910. The Curt Teich number on the back is A-86993, decoded to the year 1921.
