This postcard shows the downtown area of San Diego in the foreground, a portion of Balboa Park in the middle ground, and the San Diego Naval Hospital in Balboa Park in the distance. Two biplanes and one monoplane are seen in the air. The publishers closed in 1934, and the Naval Hospital was built in 1925. Biplanes were phased out by the late 1930s. Some of the buildings behind the San Diego Naval Hospital may be ones built for the California Pacific Exposition of 1935. The approximate date is the 1930s.
