The El Cortez Hotel, once the tallest building in San Diego, is prominent in about the middle of the card, at the south end of Park Boulevard leading into Balboa Park. In the park on the left buildings from the California-Pacific Exposition of 1935 can be seen--most especially the Ford Building in white and in the left corner the California Building and California Tower. The publisher's number on the back is 25042. The approximate date is 1935.
