This hand-tinted postcard of the dining room of the U.S. Grant Hotel was made not long after the hotel first opened in 1910, given the logo on the reverse side of the Panama-California Exposition of 1915. Harrison Albright (1866-1933) was the architect. This hotel underwent a slight name change to The US Grant, but its place on the National Register of Historic Sites ensured its survival with limited changes to the outside of the building. The approximate date is 1915.
