The three visible giraffes appear to be fleeing the bus, with consequent blurring of a leg of one of them. People watch from the sidewalk beside the bus, among the palm trees. The San Diego Zoo is in Balboa Park, San Diego, California. On the back of the card the publisher identifies the photographic reproduction process used as "Plastichrome," a process used only during the 1950s. The publisher number is P8456, and "color" is stated to be provided by David M. Mills.
