Looking east from the Cabrillo Bridge (Puente de Cabrillo) to the west entrance of Balboa Park, the California Tower and Building are on the right. These structures were designed by Bertram Goodhue (1869-1924) for the Panama-California Exposition of 1915 as the California State Buildings, and the California Building (domed structure to the left of the tower) was subsequently used as the San Diego Museum of Man.
