During the California Pacific International Exposition of 1935 the south end of the Plaza de America was occupied by the Ford Motor Company's Ford Building. Reconstructed later as the San Diego Air and Space Museum, the building is shown here with the Firestone Singing Fountains in the foreground, built for the 1935 Exposition in San Diego's Balboa Park. The fountains were removed following the exposition to make way for a parking lot. The approximate date is 1935.
