Removed from the Frank Wiggins Trade School (now known as the Los Angeles Trade Technical College). The building is now the Abram Friedman Occupational Center. Mural depicted a striding, blindfolded young man with tools of hope and tools of destruction on either side. The mural was deemed inappropriate by the Los Angeles Board of Education and removed. 3 panels. Original artist, Philip Guston, abandoned the project because of technical problems. In addition to Katz, Murray Hantman, Ruben Kadish and Harold Lehman all attempted a mural in the same location. Funded by the Public Works of Art Project and Federal Emergency Relief Administration/State Emergency Relief Administration. The mural was removed in September of 1935.
