Located in interior main lobby. Mural is meant to be seen from below. Shows old and new world. Rural world is represented in the landscape and lower four figures: two males , a woman and baby. Above is images of the new industrialized world, a movie camera is filming a scene of a golden figure reaching up, above are military planes and a tall structure. In 1964 the bottom third of the mural was removed to create a bridge to the Municipal Services Building but was restored in 2001.
